It has now being reported that Lil’ Boosie has now been released from jail. Reported by WAFB, Boosie was released this evening at 7:10 P.M. and transferred to a sheriff’s department facility in St. Francisville, Louisiana. Expect a press conference to be held on Monday by way of Atlantic Records. Hopefully some new music is on the way. Boosie back!
Hey so uh, maybe you follow me on here and don’t know me too well, or maybe you already do and a reminder won’t kill ya, but I record music for a living. Or at least I’m trying to, among all the other things I’m trying to do with my life, and this particular pipe dream stands above all the others. Here’s some stuff that I’ve worked on recently in some capacity at my studio, The Office:
Woven Woods - s/t EP [tracked here + mixed/mastered by me] (indie/alt/rock, Berklee chops with a touch of ’90s vibe to my ear)
Lesser Men - Drifter [tracked here + mixed/mastered by me] (post-hc/melodic hc, impressive debut from some CT homies)
I’m pretty proud of all of these and I’m really trying to keep working as much as I can so I can continue to improve (and also pay bills and shit). Currently booking studio time for March, April and beyond, so holla at ya boi if you or someone you know is trying to make a dope record. I would say most of my friends can vouch that I’m pretty okay at this and not a dickhead most of the time.
Spritz is a company that makes a speed-reading technology which allows you to get through a mass of text, reading every word, in a fraction of the time it would take if you were turning the pages of a book or swiping through a Kindle.
The basis of Spritz concept is that much of the time spend reading is “wasted” on moving your eyes from side to side, from one word to the next. By flashing the words quickly, one after the other, all in the same place, eye movement is reduced almost to zero. All that’s left is the time you take to process the word before the next one appears.
